Buying a home is an exciting milestone, but it can also feel overwhelming if you're not sure what to expect. That's why we've created our H.O.M.E. (Home Ownership Made Easy) process so you know what to expect during the home buying process.

Your journey begins by visiting our Home Center and exploring our available homes. One of our Home Consultants will help you find the floor plan that best fits your needs, lifestyle, and budget.

Next, you'll place a refundable deposit to secure your home, open escrow, and select your preferred lender. In many cases, you'll receive a lending decision within just a few days. During this time, a licensed contractor will complete a site evaluation to determine what is needed to prepare your property, including utilities, grading, and foundation requirements. We'll then provide a detailed proposal for the site work.

Once financing is approved, you'll complete the closing process and review the final details of your home before it's ordered. We'll obtain the necessary permits, and site preparation will begin.

When your new Clayton Home arrives, our Construction team will professionally set the home and complete the remaining construction. Any required city or county inspections will be completed before a Certificate of Occupancy is issued.

The final step is our favorite. During your homeowner orientation, we'll answer your questions, show you around your new home, hand you the keys, and officially WELCOME YOU HOME!
